Who is Sandrone?
Character Description
Sandrone is a 5-star Cryo character in Genshin Impact who uses a claymore and first appeared in the Luna VIII (6.7) version. She takes the role of a main damage dealer and spends most of her time on the field, dealing high Cryo damage and unlocking the potential of the new elemental reaction Stellar-Conduct.
Sandrone’s main feature is the autonomous mechanism Fagio, which is summoned during her Charged Attack. By managing Fagio’s Power and using her Elemental Skill at the right moment to reduce it, Sandrone can maintain high damage throughout her rotation. Thanks to the Passive Talent Light of Rationalisme, the standard Superconduct reaction is converted into the new Stellar-Conduct reaction, which increases Cryo and Electro damage for party members and opens up new team-building options.

Abilities
Sandrone is a 5-star Cryo Catalyst character whose combat style revolves around controlling the autonomous machine Fagio and empowering a unique reaction called Stellar-Conduct. Unlike traditional Catalyst users, she combines sustained Cryo application, battlefield control, and powerful reaction damage while continuously managing Fagio’s Decoding Power. Mastering Sandrone means learning when to accelerate Fagio into its strongest state and when to spend accumulated resources for devastating burst damage.
Normal Attack — Formule Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition
Sandrone’s Normal Attack generates threads that manipulate her weapon through mathematical formulae, allowing her to perform up to three consecutive attacks. While these attacks serve as her basic source of Cryo application, the true strength of this talent lies in its interaction with Fagio.

Holding the attack button summons Fagio, officially known as the Facilitatrice Automatisee Generaliste Interactive et Omnitache, and switches it into Decoding mode. In this state, Fagio sweeps enemies in front of it before periodically firing condensed Cryo beams that deal AoE Cryo DMG.
When Sandrone enters the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, these condensed beams are upgraded into Stellar-Conduct DMG, significantly increasing their effectiveness.
While Fagio remains in Decoding mode, it continuously accumulates Decoding Power. Every beam it fires increases this value even further. Once Decoding Power reaches its maximum of 100 points, Fagio automatically transitions into Power Overdrive mode. During this mode, it fires slower but much more powerful Cryo attacks, although it can no longer return to Decoding mode until its Decoding Power drops below 50.
If Sandrone leaves the field, Fagio continues operating, although its Decoding Power drains three times faster while she is off-field. This mechanic encourages players to balance field time and carefully manage Fagio’s operating cycle throughout combat.
Like every Catalyst user, Sandrone also performs a standard Plunging Attack that deals damage to enemies along her descent before creating AoE damage upon landing.
Elemental Skill — Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis
Sandrone’s Elemental Skill provides both mobility and offensive pressure. Upon activation, she boards the Tea Party Tactical Assault Hovermech, hovering above the battlefield for six seconds while gaining complete directional control over the vehicle.
Players can consume additional Stamina to accelerate into a faster hover mode, allowing Sandrone to reposition quickly or travel across the battlefield with ease.
Whenever Sandrone begins hovering near enemies, she automatically deploys a Prismatic Resonance Cannon. The cannon fires two Prism Shots at opponents that are not currently on cooldown, dealing Cryo DMG.
During Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, the second Prism Shot is converted into Stellar-Conduct DMG, making the Elemental Skill an important contributor to Sandrone’s overall reaction damage.
While riding the Hovermech, Sandrone also repairs Fagio, causing its Decoding Power to decrease much faster. This interaction allows players to deliberately cycle between Decoding mode and Power Overdrive mode, giving Sandrone far more control over her primary combat mechanic.
Elemental Burst — Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D.
Sandrone’s Elemental Burst demonstrates the full power of her engineering expertise. She summons numerous Prismatic Resonance Cannons to bombard the battlefield before unleashing a devastating Convective Inhibition Ray that deals massive AoE Cryo DMG.
When Sandrone is affected by Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, the Convective Inhibition Ray instead deals Stellar-Conduct DMG, greatly increasing its effectiveness against enemies vulnerable to Cryo reactions.
Because the Burst also interacts directly with Fagio’s Decoding Power and several Ascension Talents, it represents the primary damage window in Sandrone’s rotation and should be timed carefully for maximum impact.
Passive Talents
Eternal Speculation Engine significantly expands Sandrone’s combat mechanics. Whenever Fagio has more than 50 Decoding Power during Differential Analysis, its second Prism Shot deals substantially increased damage while Decoding Power decreases. In addition, every 10 Decoding Power consumed grants one stack of Refined Tactics. Casting Sandrone’s Elemental Burst while Radiance: Stellar-Conduct is active consumes all Refined Tactics stacks, further increasing the damage of Convective Inhibition Ray.
A Lady’s Code of Conduct converts Sandrone’s ATK into Elemental Mastery, granting 8 Elemental Mastery for every 100 ATK, up to a maximum bonus of 160. This passive allows offensive builds to naturally improve Sandrone’s reaction damage without sacrificing offensive stats.
Light of Rationalisme completely transforms the traditional Superconduct reaction. Whenever the party triggers Superconduct, it becomes Stellar-Conduct, whose base damage scales with Sandrone’s ATK. Furthermore, while standing inside a Polestar Field, Sandrone automatically enters the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, allowing her entire kit to access its enhanced effects more consistently.
Finally, Sandrone’s exploration passive, A Caucus Prelude and a Long Tale, grants additional snack rewards whenever Daily Commissions are turned in to Katheryne, providing a small but useful bonus during regular gameplay.
Best Builds
Sandrone is a Main DPS whose damage primarily scales with ATK and CRIT stats while taking full advantage of the new Stellar-Conduct reaction. Thanks to her Passive Talent A Lady’s Code of Conduct, she naturally converts ATK into Elemental Mastery, making ATK significantly more valuable than it is for most Cryo damage dealers.
Another unique aspect of Sandrone’s build is that an ATK% Goblet outperforms a traditional Cryo DMG Bonus Goblet. This is because both her personal damage and Stellar-Conduct damage benefit greatly from her high ATK, while the passive talent provides enough Elemental Mastery to further increase the reaction’s effectiveness.
Talent Priority
1. Normal Attack
2. Elemental Burst
3. Elemental Skill
Sandrone’s Charged Attack and Fagio mechanics account for the majority of her sustained damage, making her Normal Attack the highest priority. Her Elemental Burst provides an enormous damage spike during every rotation, while the Elemental Skill mainly supports Fagio by controlling Decoding Power and contributing additional Cryo and Stellar-Conduct damage.
Best Weapons
★★★★★ Recommended
A Teaspoon of Transcendence is Sandrone’s signature weapon and her best-in-slot choice. It greatly increases her overall damage by synergizing perfectly with her ATK scaling, Critical stats, and Stellar-Conduct playstyle.
Other excellent 5-star alternatives include:
• Wolf’s Gravestone
• Beacon of the Reed Sea
• Verdict
• Redhorn Stonethresher
• The Unforged
★★★★ Recommended
Among 4-star weapons, Waveshadow is the strongest option. Since it is a Fontaine craftable weapon, every player can eventually obtain Refinement Rank 5, making it one of the best free-to-play choices for Sandrone.
Other useful 4-star alternatives include:
• Serpent Spine
• Rainslasher
Best Artifacts
The best artifact set for Sandrone is Disenchantment in Deep Shadow (4-Piece). The set complements her Cryo damage, improves Stellar-Conduct performance, and maximizes the damage potential of both Sandrone and Fagio throughout every rotation.
Main Stats
Sands: ATK%
Goblet: ATK%
Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG
Using an ATK% Goblet instead of a Cryo DMG Bonus Goblet is one of Sandrone’s defining build characteristics. Thanks to her unique mechanics, this setup produces higher overall damage in most situations.
Sub-Stat Priority
1. CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
2. ATK%
3. Energy Recharge (approximately 115%–170%)
4. Elemental Mastery
Although Elemental Mastery increases Stellar-Conduct damage, players should not prioritize it over offensive stats. Sandrone already gains up to 160 Elemental Mastery from A Lady’s Code of Conduct, making additional Elemental Mastery a welcome bonus rather than a primary objective.

Material Farming Tips
Since Sandrone is designed as a Main DPS, leveling her to 90 and upgrading all three Talents is highly recommended. Prioritize farming Guide to Vagrancy, Philosophies of Vagrancy, and Madman’s Restraint, as these materials are required in large quantities. You should also collect Subdetection Units whenever you explore Fontaine, allowing you to complete Sandrone’s ascension immediately after obtaining her.
Constellations
Sandrone’s Constellations greatly improve her Stellar-Conduct damage, strengthen Fagio’s Decoding mode, and increase the value of her Normal Attack and Elemental Burst. She is already strong at C0, but her early Constellations make her gameplay smoother and significantly increase her reaction damage.
C1 — Morrow After the Golden Dusk
When Fagio is in Decoding mode, its Decoding Power increases 50% more slowly. In addition, all party members deal 30% increased Stellar-Conduct DMG.
This is one of Sandrone’s most important early Constellations because it makes Fagio easier to control and directly increases the damage of the entire team.
C2 — An Heiress Gazed Into the Looking-Glass
During Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, the CRIT DMG of Sandrone’s Charged Attack condensed beams is increased by 40%. Each time a beam is fired, the CRIT DMG of all condensed beams during the current Decoding mode is further increased by 20%. This effect can stack up to 3 times.
This Constellation strongly improves Sandrone’s sustained damage and makes her Charged Attack rotation much more powerful.
C3 — Refuse the Wake of Dusk, the Moonlit Yoke
Increases the Level of Formulae Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
C4 — In Knowledge Lies the World’s True Ground
When Sandrone deals Stellar-Conduct DMG to an opponent, she summons an additional Prismatic Resonance Cannon to perform a coordinated attack. This attack deals Cryo DMG equal to 125% of Sandrone’s ATK and is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.
This Constellation adds extra reaction-based damage and works especially well in teams built around frequent Stellar-Conduct triggers.
C5 — Of All Beside, She Takes No Part
Increases the Level of Formulae Phenomenale: Q.E.D. by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
C6 — Narcissus Wakes, Her Eyes Upon the Dawn
When Fagio fires condensed beams in Decoding mode, the third beam becomes a stronger beam cluster. This cluster deals additional AoE Cryo DMG and further improves Sandrone’s Stellar-Conduct damage.
During Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, the beam cluster also deals additional AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG. In addition, Sandrone’s Stellar-Conduct damage is increased, making C6 her strongest damage-oriented Constellation.
Best Constellations
C1 is the most valuable early Constellation because it improves Decoding Power management and increases the entire party’s Stellar-Conduct damage.
C2 is excellent for increasing Sandrone’s personal damage from Charged Attack condensed beams.
C4 adds extra coordinated Stellar-Conduct damage and improves her performance in reaction-focused teams.
C6 is her strongest Constellation overall, greatly enhancing Fagio’s damage and Sandrone’s Stellar-Conduct potential.
